About Karl

I’m an autistic therapist. I was diagnosed later in life and have come to understand how much this affected everything in my life: from work, to friendships, to schooling. What I thought was depression was actually shutdowns followed by intense masking to “pull myself out of it.” I have focused my private practice on working with other adults who have had similar experiences and are part of the nerd/geek community, although that is by no means a requirement for me to see the client.

About the therapy

I provide adult (age 18+) individual services for clients. I work with DBT and EMDR with clients along with a Rogerian style of client-centered therapy. I believe the client is the expert on their lived experiences and I work hard to validate that experience. I do telehealth services only and am private pay only.

Cancellation Policy: I require 24 hours notice for a cancelled appointment, if cancellation is made after that time I charge full fee for the missed session.
