I specialize in neurodiverse couples counseling and trauma therapy. Living with ADHD is a challenge, and having family members with both ADHD and high functioning autism led me to specialize in counseling for the neurodiverse. My practice welcomes you, your beliefs and sexuality, (as I have significant expertise in intimacy counseling and desire differences/challenges) and I look to support you with my neurodiverse focus. I have earned four certifications to work with autism (AANE, NDPartners, RDI –relationship development interventions, and CASDCS–certified autism spectrum clinical specialist), but also have extensive trauma expertise (EMDR, A.R.T, or ETT) to support processing the challenges you have gone through, and create safe space for healing, growth and new opportunities to become possibilities. Plus my background as a director for autism clinics means I have over 15 yrs of experience treating different levels of need. My past certification and work as an alcohol and other drugs counselor also allows me to suport growth away from negative coping skills, and towards health.
