Rosalind Brooks, Neurodivergent solutions, Occupational Therapy & Access to work coaching

I don’t know what has brought you here, more than likely you also have questions, thoughts, ideas. Some things you may feel certain about others might be less clear. My practice is about holding space for what comes up when we explore what brought you here. I am a neurodivergent, queer, chronically-ill occupational therapist so I bring these lenses to my practice. I only work with adults in a 1-1 setting currently.
My practice sometimes feels like that of a holistic detective (for those that know Dirk Gently) navigating chaos with skills honed through my variety of experiences. I search for opportunities to make small changes that have long term impacts. Sometimes we will work to bring focus to existing skills and strategies other times we will work to support you to introduce new skills and strategies. We will work collaboratively to find the right pace and way of working that feels right.
In our sessions, we’ll explore your personal experiences and current situation in depth. This isn’t about fixing you or making you fit into a mould. It’s about understanding your neurodivergence and chronic illness and using that understanding to create a life where you can truly thrive.
I use an occupational therapy approach to look at all aspects of your life. We’ll explore your daily routines, identify opportunities, and tackle challenges. Together, we’ll develop strategies that honour who you are and help you live a balanced, fulfilling life.
I work with anyone who identifies as neurodivergent (diagnosed, self-identifying or questioning).
