Hello, and welcome. My name is Michelle. As a therapist Intern, I am studying Expressive Arts Therapy and bring a creative empathetic holistic approach to therapy. Using creative modalities based on your own interests we can work together to find healing modalities that feel authentic to who you are. All of you is welcome in this space, you are free to be whoever you are! It is my goal to build trust and create the safest space possible. I believe with all my heart that you are the expert on your own life and your own story and it is my goal to support you in your own unique process of healing and growth.
I am a multiply neorodivergent person (Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic) and enthusiastically offer a neorodiversity affirming de-pathologizing space. I am thrilled to work with Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic and all other neurodivergent people using a strengths based interest led approach. I am committed to anti-racist de-colonial work as a lifelong practice and committed to being a lifelong open minded learner.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee I am currently under the supervision of a Licensed therapist, Melinda Haynes and work through the association Family and Children’s Counseling Services. I can work with people anywhere in California Via tele-health.
Insurance I am able to accept includes Partnership, Medi-Cal Anthem Blue Cross, Ceralon, Medi-Cal Magellan, Medi-Cal Molina, Aetna, Cigna, Medi-Cal California Health and Wellness, and Medi-Cal Health Net.
Or can provide a reduced fee private pay fee of $40 per session if you do not have medical coverage.
