Jess Judkins - LMFT Licensed Psychotherapist and Austistic Coach
Hi there,
I opened my private practice in 2019 and have been in the field of mental health and autism since 2008. My lived experience growing up in a working-class background, being queer and late diagnosed Autistic informs my therapeutic lens.
I work within the frameworks of internal family systems (IFS) and models based on attachment. I believe that psychotherapy alone is limited when it comes to healing relational wounds. In addition to therapy, I am an advocate and in support in helping you access additional levels of healing, such as using books and new research to guide our work together, locating peer groups, therapy groups, and psychoeducation.
Outside of my practice, I run coaching groups for late diagnosed BIPOC adults. The groups range in themes of; Autistic burnout, Intro to DBT skills, psychoeducational groups on emotional regulation, reparenting inner child(ren), and ½ day workshops. In groups, I facilitate a space so others can talk about subjects relating to racial trauma, ongoing challenges of life after self/ formal diagnoses of Autism and or/ CPSTD relational challenges and building new connections with others.
For psychotherapy, I offer a free a 30-minute telephone consultation and you must reside in the state of California for services. For coaching, I offer a free consultation by virtual video conferencing and I am able to work with anyone regardless of location. All of my services are through HIPAA compliant virtual video conferencing. All of my services are private pay, for psychotherapy, I offer super bills.
