About Me & My Approach
Hi, I’m Alice – a neurodivergent Coaching Psychologist and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience as a clinician.

Whether you’re navigating burnout, executive functioning differences, life transitions, or just looking for a space to process and plan, we’ll move at your pace—using approaches that feel useful and respectful. My role is to create a safe, collaborative, and affirming space where we can explore your goals and challenges in ways that genuinely work for you.

What We Might Work On
– Executive Functioning & Task Adaptation
We’ll explore how your brain naturally works—and how to align your day-to-day tasks, routines, and environments with that. We’ll work together to reduce overwhelm and find rhythm in a way that feels realistic.

– Burnout Recovery & Prevention
Whether you’re in burnout or heading toward it, I can help you identify your limits, reconnect with your needs, and build sustainable strategies to restore energy and balance.

– Workplace or Study Support
This might include identifying reasonable adjustments, communication strategies, or setting boundaries around time and expectations.

– Identity, Self-Acceptance & Role Transitions
Many of my clients are exploring what it means to be neurodivergent—especially after a late diagnosis. We can look at your values, roles, and future direction in a way that supports your autonomy and honours who you are.

– Sensory Awareness & Daily Life
We can explore your sensory preferences and sensitivities, and how these might influence things like focus, comfort, energy levels, and overwhelm. This can include thinking about how to make environments more accessible or identifying your sensory regulation strategies.

What to Expect
– A free 15-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and we can decide together if it’s a good fit.
– Sessions on Saturday afternoons & occasional Mondays. There’s typically a 4–6 week wait for ongoing appointments, but consults are often available sooner.
– I offer structured, solution-focused work, which many clients find helpful and energising. You’re not expected to commit to long-term therapy—but if you need something more in-depth, I’ll help you find the right person.

A Bit About Me
I’m neurodivergent myself and also parent neurodivergent children. This deeply informs my practice—I know first-hand how much energy it can take to navigate a world not built for our ways of thinking and being.

Professionally, I’ve worked across diverse areas of mental health including self-harm services, perinatal care, and substance misuse. I currently work as a Clinical Practice Lead alongside my private practice.

I bring together coaching psychology foundations with tools from occupational therapy, compassion-focused therapy, systemic family therapy and motivational interviewing—all adapted for neurodivergent ways of processing, relating and being.

FAQ
How many sessions should I book?
This is completely individual. Some people benefit from just a few sessions, especially when they’re looking for focused support or clarity. Others might return for blocks of support at different times. We’ll decide together what works best.

What if I need longer-term or specialist support?
If I’m not the right person for what you need—either due to capacity or fit—I’ll always be honest and will help signpost you to trusted colleagues, especially within the neurodivergent-affirming community at Thriving Autistic.
