Cat Chappell - Counselling and Supervision
I am a counsellor and Supervisor based in Bristol and online. My main approach is relational and integrative, which means I keep the relationship at the heart of the work and use a range of counselling tools in sessions based on what you might need. I work mainly with those who experience low mood, anxiety and self esteem, especially in the aftermath of abuse and in relation to eating and Body size. I also often work with individuals who suspect or have diagnosed ADHD and was diagnosed with ADHD myself in 2023. I aim to assist those with understanding of self and self-acceptance, Strategies for making life easier and less stressful, navigating ADHD in a predominately neurotypical world, feeling comfort in your body and around food, understanding and reclaiming your identity, learning and allowing self-care and self-compassion.
As a Supervisor, I have an advanced diploma in relational supervision from Severn Talking Therapy. My style is relational, exploratory and reflective.
I wish to support supervisees in a collaborative manner and look to hold a space to bring concerns, dilemmas, hopes, fears, vulnerability and support you to have a solid and confident practice. I work with counsellors and psychotherapists of all disciplines and anyone working in the helping professions.
