Where our differences are recognised and applauded as strengths as therapists. First study of its kind in the UK.

Online and face-to-face. I am AuDHD.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself, just as I am, then I can change.” – Carl Rogers.

I offer a safe space where you identify any learnt messages and separate them from who you really are, not who you have become, by trying to conform and please the world and others. Through a Neurodiverse-affirmative therapeutic lens, I support you in recognising and celebrating your differences while understanding the effect of social expectations and judgements on how you view those differences. You are the expert on you, but you may have just lost your voice.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. My initial core training was in the person-centred model, but I also have training and experience in cognitive behaviour therapy, gestalt, and creative methods. I use psychoeducation, lived experience and my natural strengths, such as cognitive understanding and pattern-finding, to help you gain new insights and awareness.

Counselling is about the relationship and feeling safe to be able to explore our inner world and worries with someone who understands and without fear of judgement. So it’s important to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with.

I am Accredited with both the BACP and NCS and am a Level 2 Professional with ACTO (online counsellors). I have also gained over 100 speciality training certificates, and my enhanced DBS and safeguarding training is updated every three years.

My core counselling training to date includes:

-Master of Arts (MA) Distinction in Counselling and Psychotherapy

-Batchelor of Science (BSc) First Class Honours Degree in Counselling

-Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Counselling Practice and Theory

-Level 4 in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

-Level 3 in Counselling Practice

-Level 2 in Counselling Skills

Other professional qualifications gained include:

-Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People

-Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Children in Schools

FEES
I try to keep sessions affordable while respecting my years of experience and level of training. To do this, I offer a sliding-scale fee of between £60 and £90 per session.

When we agree to work together, I will ask you to select a price you can afford (between £60 and £90), which we will agree on in your contract. This fee will not be questioned; I trust you to pay what you can.

I also have two £30 concession places for low-income households or students.

Reflecting and undoing internalised negative beliefs (ableism) can be long-term work, so I offer weekly, fortnightly, short-term, or even one-off sessions. We will frequently review to ensure you are still benefiting from sessions.

I offer a free 15-minute phone call or an initial 30-minute session (£30).

Invoices are available upon request.
