Nuala - Coaching and mentoring for neurodivergent adults

Hello!
Thank you for looking at my listing. I’m Nuala Clancy O’Connor, a professional coach and neurodiversity adviser, passionate about helping people to thrive at work and in life. I work with English-speaking adults in Ireland, the United Kingdom and other European regions.
I’ve been coaching for many years, with a more recent specialism of:
• Coaching and mentoring support for newly identified autistic/neurodivergent adults
• Leadership, career and life coaching for neurodivergent adults.
I’m a late identified autistic, AUDHD and dyspraxic woman. This was always part of who I am, but it took me a while to understand and integrate that new knowledge. I’m grateful to those who supported me on that journey.
Why coaching?
I love the ‘partnership’ focus of coaching. It’s not about teaching or telling someone what they should do. For that reason, I don’t list the things you might want from coaching – that’s your call! Sometimes clients have a clear idea of what they want to work on; other times it’s about a safe space to explore and process what’s happening right. Or something else!
If we work together, I promise to
• show unconditional respect for who you are; your beliefs, identity, aspirations, personal history, and thinking style.
• be transparent about who I am and how I work.
• encourage, accept and learn from feedback.
• speak openly if I’ve any concerns about whether coaching is the right support for you.
As a qualified and credentialed member of the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I follow rigorous codes of ethics and am committed to continuous professional development. There’s more about that on my website.
I’m also a qualified coaching supervisor, teacher, retired insurance professional (FCII) and a mental health first aider.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, recreational running, walking, music and travel.
Drop me an email if you’d like arrange a no-obligation exploratory conversation.
15% of my work is on a pro-bono or ‘sliding scale’ basis, for those unable to pay the full fee.
