Tara McRae Therapy

Before coming to see me, clients are frustrated that they have not been able to find a therapeutic service that will adapt to their needs.
Their disability is being noted but their other mental health needs and life concerns are being overlooked. They would like to try individual psychotherapy but have had a hard time finding the right fit.
If this sounds like your experience, I can help.
Whether you are struggling with navigating a new diagnosis, sensory overload, anxiety and worry concerns, anger, or struggling to achieve your goals, I will work from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach always adapting to your needs.
We will start by getting a clear understanding of what you are struggling with, how these struggles relate to each other and how they impact you. From there, we will set goals and develop a plan for therapy.
You can expect to learn the theory behind the techniques that are being suggested to you, learn new skills, develop opportunities to reach your goals, get to know your triggers, discover new ways of relating to yourself, others, and your life and experiment with new ways of doing things.
