Amanda Riley Psychotherapy Group

As an intuitive empath, a highly sensitive person, and a recovering perfectionist, I began my own healing journey a decade ago, deepening my empathy and resilience. I truly understand the crucial need for practical coping skills to navigate the complexities of life. I started my career 17 years ago working in the field of Autism. I later moved on to work with the school board as an Applied Behaviour Analysis Supervisor, where I supported students with special education learning needs, including ADHD, ADD, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Behavioural and Mental Health concerns.
Our sessions will be purposeful conversations in a supportive and relaxed environment, allowing us to be productive and focused on developing new skills. Together, we’ll draw connections and uncover valuable insights and strategies. My approach is honest, direct and psychoeducational (I’ll teach you things). I hope you learn something new each session, and psychoeducation is a great way to have a tangible takeaway (like suggested readings or homework). I offer an unbiased, non-judgmental perspective that is trauma-informed.
I am committed to supporting you in healing emotional wounds, developing coping skills, understanding your emotions, and breaking free from unhelpful patterns. My passion is witnessing the remarkable growth and transformation of my clients. We’re a team, and I’m here to help you achieve your therapy goals. This collaborative approach is designed to empower you and help you feel in control of your healing journey. If you would like to learn more about my approach and how I can assist you, I invite you to visit my webpage and book a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
