Welcome to my profile.
Through my own lived experience, and an understanding that the presentation of this condition varies from one person to another, I am able to explore and support your journey both before and after diagnosis, and the rollercoaster of emotions that can unfurl. I had a late diagnosis and have worked through the grieving of who I thought I was, to accept who I really am. It is a process that I needed support with, and I am now privileged to be able to sit with others through their unique discovery journey.
There are a range of strategies for neuro-divergents to work with in a neurotypical world, and I am open to finding the ones that suit and sit best for each of my clients. No two neuro-divergents are the same! We are individuals first, with a neurodivergent brain second.
Accepting ourself is the first step. The old-fashioned view of autism is so far from true – the deep sensitivities of someone autistic can be found in mirror synasthesia and the “beautiful reality of autism”.
Please get in touch if you would like to have a free fifteen minute zoom call to talk about how we might work together. I am keen to ensure that people feel as comfortable as they are able to, before committing to full sessions, so there is an easier route in to our work together.
