About Ashley:
Ashley Johnson, M.S., LPCC, is a neurodivergent therapist. She received both her Master’s in Counseling (2021) and B.S. in Psychology (2019) from Longwood University. At Longwood, she received awards in research and citizen leadership for her development of mental health stigma programs. In 2022, Ashley moved to Rochester, Minnesota. Once here, she discovered her love of working with neurodivergent children. As time went on, her focus shifted from general mental wellness to helping other neurodivergent individuals find self-acceptance and empowerment. Ashley’s clinical interests include exploring autistic identity, neurodiversity, and intersecting identities, and neurodivergent trauma. When she’s not in the office, you can find Ashley baking and dancing around her kitchen to death metal, curled up with her cats (Onyx and Spice) with a good fantasy novel, or painting Warhammer miniatures with her partner.
