Amber - Marriage and Family Therapist
Amber specializes in couples counseling. She works with individuals, couples, and families, offering support for a variety of issues including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, grief, stress and trauma. She strives toward an affirming and client-centered approach and supports folks of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, neurotypes, and relationship structures.
Amber’s therapeutic approach draws upon Buddhist philosophy and the notion that every human being possesses an innate clarity– an inner “Self” harboring qualities of compassion, courage, wisdom, and loving-kindness. This aligns well with the language of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a technique she is training in at Clear Path. Amber approaches therapy as a collaborative process wherein clients are gently guided inward with compassionate curiosity, engaging in a process of self-exploration that allows clients to tap into their own inner resources to experience insight, healing, and growth.
