About Shayne Pattie
Shayne is a registered psychologist who has previously worked in community and non-government mental health organisations. He has worked in various programs including the ‘headspace’ program, stepped care, Medicare and other programs.
Shayne has experience and training in working with:
- Autistic people
- ADHDr’s
- Those struggling with Alcohol and other drugs
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Risk assessment
Shayne facilitates mental health group programs such as the various ‘Mental Health First Aid Australia’ programs, and the ‘Black Dog’ REACH program. He has had a passion for Fitness and Martial arts since childhood and it was during this time a personal trainer got him interested in how the mind works, and his love for psychology began. He now enjoys combining his health and fitness knowledge with his psychological knowledge for a more comprehensive understanding of physical and mental health.”
Shayne also enjoys running workshops on most mental health topics to groups large and small.
I have worked many jobs in many industries prior to becoming a psychologist. Including various fitness backgrounds that help me in counselling psychology (Personal Trainer, Group Fitness, Pilates, Tai Chi for Health) and participated in other fitness (Circus, Martial Arts, Team Sports, etc.).
