My name is Maya Price. I’m a trans, neurodivergent (AuDHD) integrative therapist offering online therapy to adults (18+) in the UK and internationally. I work primarily with neurodivergent people, trans women, sex workers, gender-diverse adults, and other LGBTQIA+ clients seeking a genuinely affirming, thoughtful, and non-pathologising therapy space.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy after long periods of coping – masking, managing others, carrying responsibility, or living in survival mode. You may have had experiences of being misunderstood, overlooked, or harmed by systems that weren’t built with you in mind. I offer a calm, relational space where you don’t need to perform, explain yourself endlessly, or be “less” of who you are to be supported.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, grounded in person-centred therapy and shaped by inner child work, transactional analysis, relational therapy, and narrative approaches. I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects your nervous system. Therapy with me can be reflective, gently practical, or exploratory, depending on what feels most supportive for you. I’m attentive to boundaries, consent, power, and safety, and I work in ways that are flexible rather than rigid.

I am explicitly neurodivergent-affirming, trans-affirming, sex-worker-affirming, kink-aware, body-positive, and actively anti-racist. I recognise that distress often makes sense in context, particularly for neurodivergent people navigating a world that can be overwhelming, invalidating, or unsafe. My focus is not on fixing you, but on understanding your experiences, honouring your adaptations, and supporting you to build more ease, choice, and self-trust.

Alongside my therapy practice, I have over 20 years’ experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent people, and young people, and I have held senior leadership and safeguarding roles within community organisations. This informs my work, particularly around care, responsibility, and ethical practice, while remaining clearly separate from therapy itself.

I work exclusively online and offer a free introductory call so you can get a feel for me and decide whether we’re a good fit. Therapy should feel like a place where you can arrive as you are – and that’s what I aim to offer.
