My approach works towards creating safe, curious environments where we can learn together and uncover new perspectives. I am passionate about the ways that self-exploration can help us to solve problems and access our agency.

As I work with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) modality, I recognise that we are all multifaceted. This is a trauma-informed approach which believes that each part of us has unique gifts to share, and deserves to be cared for. We can practise welcoming all parts of ourselves as we go about our lives, as a way to be self-compassionate.

Prior to entering the social work profession, I spent almost a decade in arts and cultural community development. I have found that incorporating creativity into the therapeutic space can help us connect to our bodies, our environments, and our inner landscape. I have been privileged to work alongside a large spectrum of people with all kinds of experiences that affect how they approach work and relationships. In particular, I really enjoy working with young people who are facing new kinds of emerging problems. Right now, things can feel quite unstable and overwhelming.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent community, I also appreciate the unique celebrations and struggles that come with these experiences and identities.

We are living in a time with a lot of change and complexity. Together, we can find new approaches to navigate this moment with a greater sense of ease.
