Hello, my name is Lisa.

I am a CORU registered occupational therapist based in Ireland with over 17 years of clinical experience, predominantly in mental health and primary care settings.

I work with adults and adolescents from the age of 13 years upwards. I am also a clinical supervisor, adult educator/trainer and group facilitator.

As a multiply neurodivergent healthcare professional, I am very aware of how challenging accessing health and support services can be for neurodivergent people and so I endeavour to ensure that I provide an accessible, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for everyone who chooses to work with me. My clinical, supervisory and training practice is underpinned by human rights and social justice. My practice is trauma informed, neuro affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Adult/Adolescent Sensory profile assessment:

When people experience multiple different sensory sensitivities they sometimes choose to have a sensory profile completed. This is a standardised assessment that measures sensory preferences across the domains of taste and smell, vision, auditory, touch, activity and movement.

This assessment provides information on a person’s unique sensory processing pattern and insights into how these patterns may influence, enhance or interfere with daily functioning. It enables the identification of strategies that may support them in their day to day life and chosen activities.

It comprises 2 x 1 hour sessions – the first session involves completion of the assessment (a series of questions about sensory preferences) and the second session focuses on assessment results/feedback and recommendations. There is also a written report with the results and recommendations included.

I offer this assessment both in person (in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, Ireland) or online via Zoom.

Please contact me via email with any queries related to the assessment process, appointment availability etc.
