Hello, my name is Lis, I’m a qualified neurodiversity affirming counsellor based in York, UK

I am a member of the BACP and I am committed to providing a professional service, working within their ethical framework.

I trained in the “person-centred approach” which means that your needs are always my focus. You remain in control in deciding what is best for you.

I want your counselling sessions to give you hope for positive change, and to allow you to see more clearly how you can achieve what is best for you at this time in your life by being with you on your journey, giving you my undivided attention, my unconditional understanding, and my respect.

What can I offer you?
I can offer you space to just be, somewhere you will find the understanding and encouragement you need to start to move forward, to become the best possible version of you, the you that you want to be.

Feeling nervous?
It’s normal to feel nervous about new situations. I feel nervous every time I meet a new client. Therapists can be clients too and so I know what it is like to be thinking about therapy and feeling a bit anxious.

Our relationship is a crucial part of your therapy, so deciding if we can work together or not is a significant step. This is why I offer a free initial chat on the phone to help you decide. This is not a counselling session but an opportunity to explore whether we can work together. You can ask questions and find out more about counselling with Just Bee.

All you need to do is fill in the contact form on my website, book a Discovery Call or just text TALK to 07808 494561 and I’ll call you to arrange a convenient time for your initial chat.
