Jessica - Speech-Language Pathologist
Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Brock University, followed by a Master of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. Jessica has worked both privately and publicly (with the Peel Preschool Speech & Language program).
Jessica is a warm and enthusiastic clinician who values caregiver involvement and functional intervention goals. Jessica has worked with preschool & school-aged children to support various communication differences, particularly early language & social communication. She is an advocate for early intervention, play-based therapy, and neurodiversity affirming care.
Jessica is certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk, the Meaningful Speech course, and AAC systems (LAMP, TouchChat). She seeks out continuing education & research to guide her clinical practice, with special interests in Gestalt Language Processing, Autism, and AAC.
Jessica is a registered member of the College of Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
