Hello, I’m Flora – an accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist.

I understand that life can sometimes feel deeply lonely – no one experiences things exactly as we do. In therapy, I seek to understand your experiences as they genuinely feel to you, to ease the pain of loneliness, offer gentle insight into how past experiences may shape your patterns of feeling, acting, and relating, and explore the possibility of change and growth together.

I believe we each hold an inner wisdom that guides us through life, but many of us may lose touch with it after spending so long trying to fit into others’ expectations. In therapy, we create space to set those expectations aside – a space just for you. Here, you can begin to untangle, unmask, and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that long to live in their true colours.

[How I work]

My approach is humanistic and relational, built on warmth, respect, and genuine connection. I believe change occurs within a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences and experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. As Brené Brown beautifully said, “When we deny our stories, they define us; When we own our stories, we get to write the ending.”

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to best support each individual client, including:
Person-Centred Therapy
Existential therapy
Creative therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Transactional Analysis
Compassion-Focused
Therapy Trauma-informed Therapy

Our work together may involve reflection, creative exploration, or dialogue – always guided by your needs, comfort, and pace.
