Charlie Hamilton - neuroaffirming Autistic and ADHD coaching. Affordable, online and effective - for women and girls.
My perspective as a late-forty-something autistic woman with ADHD uniquely informs my work as an Autism Coach, Academic, and Trainer. Personal experience shapes my focus on autism in women and girls.
My doctoral studies at Lancaster University focus on neuroinclusion within higher education. Besides my MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, I hold further postgraduate qualifications in working with autistic adults, and have just completed the academic component of a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism (a joint programme from Sheffield Hallam University and the National Autistic Society).
As an accredited Associate Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I’ve maintained a successful coaching practice since 2017.
I’m a fundraiser for the Autistic Girls Network, the sole UK charity providing nationwide support specifically for autistic girls and young women. I have just finished working for the National Autism Trainer Programme; as a Lead Trainer, I delivered autism training to SEND professionals across the UK. I’m also involved in innovative research at University College London’s Centre for Research in Autism and Education.
I’m passionate about helping others and I use my expertise in positive psychology to deliver focused, results-driven coaching sessions. My work centres on empowering clients post-late-diagnosis through self-identity exploration, workplace adaptation strategies, and self-care, providing ongoing support. Most recently, my work has involved supporting neurodivergent couples and non-autistic partners.
With over 20 years of international experience in media, non-profits, and education, I offer a wide range of expertise. I’m fluent in Portuguese, proficient in French, and have extensive experience living and working across Europe. I’ve collaborated with prestigious pan-European entities, including UEFA, the European Commission, the European Union Youth Orchestra, and the British Council.
