Camilla Ferraro - Integrative Therapist and Registered Dietitian
About Me
I am an integrative psychotherapist (fancy word – but basically means I am trained in and can combine different forms of therapy), I am able to use my training and skills to tailor therapy to you. If I had to describe my preferred way of working, it would be termed working ‘relationally’, and in a way that is centred around you (and your needs) as the client (a humanistic, person-centred approach).
Working ‘relationally’ also means that I am concerned with our relationship together in the therapy room (our client-therapist relationship) and how what happens in our ‘room’ might flow through into your relationships with others in your world, and vice versa. I am also interested in how your past and your present impacts you and your relationships today.
Additionally, as a neurodivergent person myself and having worked with many neurodivergent clients, I am also passionate about adapting therapy and our approach to suit you and your preferences and access needs. I will ask about these preferences when we first meet, and review them with you regularly.
I am also a registered dietitian (RD) with years of experience working with eating disorders and disordered eating, providing weight neutral and non-diet nutrition counselling, and working with folk experiencing feeding and eating barriers including adapting eating to sensory preferences.
Sessions with me are: neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ friendly, weight neutral and gender inclusive.
I currently work exclusively online. Face-to-face sessions will be available in future. I am based in the UK but work with clients worldwide.
Issues and concerns that I commonly work with:
-Anxiety
-Depression and low mood
-Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders (primarily emotional eating, binge eating and food avoidance/ARFID)
-Body image
-Perfectionism and low self-confidence
-Relationship difficulties and conflict
-Navigating life transitions and loss
-Identity work including exploration of gender and sexuality
-Supporting self-discovery around neurodivergence
-Burnout (including neurodivergent burnout, and compassionate support around shutdowns, meltdowns and sensory overwhelm)
Session options:
1. Individual (1:1) weekly therapy sessions online, via zoom (50 mins)
– Usually meeting at the same time each week
– No minimum commitment but tends to work best for those wanting at least 8 weeks of therapy.
– First session is always an assessment session, where we get to know each other / and make sure it’s a good fit.
Cost: £95 (some lower cost spots available).
2. A stand-alone ‘untangling things’ session (90 mins)
– A single session to work through a specific issue or dilemma (like a decent comb and some thickkk conditioner is for detangling hair!).
– More practical and hands-on from the get-go (think: if therapy and coaching had a baby!)
– Pre-session preparation and post session email follow-up included, to make sure you get the most out of the session.
– It’s possible to book more than one of these sessions, but if you feel like you need more than three, then regular therapy sessions might be a better fit.
Cost: £170
Some fine print

A limited number of concessional places may be available for students/trainees and neurodivergent folk on low income/benefits, so please do enquire re: availability.
If you are interested in couples therapy (both romantic and platonic) then these sessions will be coming in due course. Email me to register your interest.
