Anika Sawatsky - Registered Clinical Counsellor
Have you ever felt like you were too much and not enough at the same time? Maybe the world has told you that you’re too sensitive. Or that you’re making a big deal out of nothing. Maybe you’re drowning in “shoulds.” You’re not alone in it, and you’re not broken. We all need someone to walk beside us, remind us of our goodness, and point out things we may have never considered before.
I believe every client possesses the innate wisdom and strength to grow, change and heal. Let me join you on your journey of wholeness, healing and autonomy as you connect with yourself and look inwardly with compassion and curiosity.
My relational, non-judgmental approach helps clients to explore emotions, beliefs and sensations as they gain insight. It is truly an honour to accompany others through times of transition and challenges, and to help them see their way to the other side.
As the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components of a beneficial experience in therapy, I use empathy, metaphor, curiosity and sometimes humour to assist clients on their journey of self-discovery and finding meaning.
On a personal level, I have lived experience with neurodivergence, I am a mom of neurodivergent kids with complex needs and a former first responder.
