Abbie Warr - M.A., CCC-SLP

Hi, I’m Abbie, a speech-language pathologist with four years of experience supporting both pediatric and adult clients. My settings include pediatric school-based therapy (currently employed through Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital – School Based Services) and private rehabilitation for adults recovering from strokes and brain injuries.
While I have a wide range of experience with pediatric and adult communication, my areas of specific interest include executive functioning, social-emotional communication, language and literacy disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I strive to bring a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma informed, person-centered approach to every session and am passionate about making communication accessible and meaningful across the lifespan.
My specific certifications include Learn, Play, Thrive Approach to Autism, Rollins Center for Language and Literacy (early literacy), and I am currently pursuing a certification in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for childhood apraxia of speech.
As a neurodivergent clinician and lifelong Memphian, I’m deeply committed to advocacy, education, improving accessibility, capacity building, and minimizing barriers to ensure equitable community for all. I strive to create collaborative, supportive, joyful spaces where clients (and their families) feel heard, empowered, respected, and connected with the people and places they love.
