Laura Howes - Specialist Neurodiversity Coach

I am a specialist coach, trainer, and speaker with a deep expertise in supporting neurodivergent and queer individuals to thrive.
Holding a Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring, alongside qualifications in Learning and Development (Levels 3 & 4, specialising in individual and group learning) and Counselling Skills (Level 2), I bring a robust, evidence-based approach to my coaching practice.
With a strong foundation in neurodiversity-affirming coaching, I help individuals build self-advocacy skills, develop strategies that align with their neurotype, and create environments where they can flourish. I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges neuro-minorities face, including demand avoidance, executive function difficulties, motivation fluctuations, and future visualisation struggles. My approach is client-led, strengths-based, and empowering, ensuring that every session is tailored to the individual’s needs, pace, and lived experience. I am a trauma informed coaching practitioner, and I’m accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
As an LGBTQIA+ advocate and speaker, I am deeply committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. I integrate intersectional, feminist, and neurodiversity-affirming principles into all aspects of my work, ensuring my coaching is inclusive, affirming, and psychologically safe for individuals navigating neurodivergence and queer identity.
