Welcome to my therapy profile! I offer a warm space where you can be yourself, in full acceptance. A nurturing remote environment where we can build trust within the therapeutic relationship to help you explore whatever it is you bring into the room.

As someone with lived experience of Autism and ADHD I have an awareness and understanding of processing needs and how this may come into play during sessions. I wish for you to be comfortable during counselling, we can discuss any adjustments needed. Accessing counselling online allows for more flexibility in terms of having sessions from the comfort of your own home.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities, I am an advocate for counselling being accessible for all. I am non-binary and use they/them pronouns. I am listening to what you say, not just the words themselves but the emotion behind them. I share insights on what I notice, this is to show you you’re truly heard but also I may ask you questions on these for opening up different narratives.

How counselling can help:

I will support you in finding your own solutions to problems. I can guide you in listening to yourself, building up self confidence, tuning in to what your body is trying to tell you. I am myself with you, though in a professional capacity I don’t hide behind a theory based facade as we are both human. I offer unconditional positive regard, upholding confidentiality and genuineness in the therapy. I will listen to you without judgement.

We will take things at your pace, working together to create a plan for addressing what you wish to focus on in a way that aligns with your core values.

I specialise in LGBTQIA plus, Neurodiversity, and Self Esteem. Your pronouns will be adhered to, you are accepted just as you are whatever that might be, I proudly welcome you into a queer and trans friendly space, you are not alone.

What to expect in your first session:

This is a chance for us to get to know each other, I will ask a few background questions to help me gain a full picture on your situation. We’ll discuss what your goals are and go from there.

Please email me to arrange a free 15-30 minute intro call. This gives you a chance to ask me any questions you might have and check I am the right fit for you. Type of session: Online and Phone.

I started my counselling journey with a Foundation in Counselling then went on to qualify with a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling. I am further training (post grad) with a CPCAB Dip in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Level 5. I have studied Carolyn Spring courses on working with and being trauma informed. I have had two years of placement experience working with adults within an autism service.
