Neurodivergent coach, counsellor and mentor specialised in trauma

ADHD, CPTSD, neurodivergent with autistic traits, pattern thinker, introvert, nerd, meditator, community first responder, life-long expat. I’m a recovering perfectionist who is now discovering the benefits of truly doing nothing. Being idle, being more mindful is a challenge for neurodivergent minds. I have a bachelor’s degree in History, a Master’s in Public Administration and I lived in 5 different countries. I’m trying to switch from finding meaning in life to finding meaning in everyday things.

As a photographer for 25 years, I learned to notice the small things, provide gentle direction when needed and see the person in front of me authentically. My experience with the ambulance service gave me the skills to handle high pressure situations, and high acuity clients calmly and mindful of everyone’s safety.

My areas of interest/expertise:
– trauma, grief and loss (bereavement – humans and pets, separation)
– life transitions
– future uncertainty (job, career, life)
– feelings of being othered, excluded, being less than
– overthinking
– navigating identity after recent diagnosis/self identification
– burnout
– search for meaning
– navigating creative ruts and “stuckness”
– expat/immigrant life challenges
– struggling with perfectionism
– limiting beliefs
– neuro-somatic work and improving relationship with the body
– difficulty with identifying emotions (alexythimia and interoception)
– building psychological resilience
– relationship struggles (romantic, family, work)
