My focus has been on Autism and the dynamics of engaging in social encounters since I was diagnosed as a child. As my practice has matured, an increasing focus on trauma has come up and I have taken efforts to train in trauma-informed treatments to support clients who struggle with both and either. First sessions include introductions and initial assessment questions, and we will come up with a plan for treatment that you feel best serves your needs. I try to be open and honest about what we are doing and why, and am not above sharing experiences and findings that I believe are relevant to our work.
