Suze de Lee Adult and Child Neuroaffirming Creative Arts Psychotherapist
I am a qualified Neuroaffirming, Person-Centred Expressive Arts Psychotherapist (MBACP), artist, and published experimental poet with a specialist interest in Neuro-Psychotherapy. My work is grounded in compassion, deep listening, and the belief that every person possesses an innate wisdom that can guide their healing and growth.
As a Neuro-Expressive Arts Psychotherapist, I support adults children and young people navigating life transitions, anxiety, loss, health concerns, traumatic brain injuries (acquired and non-acquired), functional neurological disorders (FND), disability, neurodiversity, chronic pain, and those who simply long to feel more at home in themselves.
Alongside person-centred and expressive arts approaches, I gently integrate emotion-focused techniques and draw on research in neuroscience and neuroplasticity to support change and strengthen mind-body-brain connection. I am particularly interested in how creative expression, embodied awareness, and the therapeutic relationship can foster healing, resilience, and meaningful transformation.
I hold a Master of Science in Psychotherapy and Counselling with Creative Approaches and completed a clinical placement at The Brain Charity. My master’s research explored how expressive arts and walking in nature can support neurodiverse women experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms
