If you have experienced trauma, are Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, diagnosed, self-identifying or beginning to recognise yourself as neurodivergent later in life, I understand something of how this can feel from lived experience, as late diagnosed AuDHD myself.
I’m Jayne Cox, a relational coach with an approach grounded in deep understanding of trauma and the nervous system, and I have almost 30 years of experience working therapeutically and as a coach.
My work is integrative, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed. I bring together relational coaching, nervous-system, somatic understanding, music and relational
Listening.
I have also developed a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach to SSP, SSP Together™, a carefully adapted Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) delivery, designed specifically for those who have experienced trauma and neurodivergent people living with trauma.
I often work with women, but my approach is suitable for people who have spent years masking, adapting, pushing through overwhelm or feeling outside expected social norms. You may look capable while feeling exhausted, always on, unsure of what you need or disconnected from your sense of self.
Our relationship is central to my coaching, we work slowly and collaboratively, with attention to trust, choice, capacity and your developing sense of safety.
I work with you as a whole person. With thoughts, emotions, identity, relationships, body, nervous system and sensory experience. And where trauma, masking, overwhelm, burn out or difficult and abusive relationships have shaped how you respond to yourself, other people and the world around you.
I don’t see you as broken, and someone in need of fixing.
Our work begins with a complimentary discovery call so that we can meet, you can ask questions and we can consider whether working together feels right.
All sessions are online. I work with clients across the UK and Europe, and professional referrals are welcome.
