Sarah Malster - Minerva Practice Group, LPC
Almost 20 years ago, I started in the field as an oncology therapy intern where I saw firsthand the covalent bond of physical and psychological health. I learned early on that system integration is the key to healing; and it’s a lesson I’ve carried with me. This concept is imperative to the divergent mind given its linked medical conditions and experiences that can often mimic and co-occur with common mental health concerns like anxiety and depression.
I am lucky to have held roles in emergency medicine evaluation, primary care, substance abuse, residential/ inpatient care, including senior leadership. Every step of the way, l’ve always been partial to the “odd ducks”.
I see adults, teens, couples, and family members of humans that feel out of place, sense their brain is just “spicier” than others, or identify as neurodivergent including ADHD/ Autism.
