Psychologist
My practice offers a safe(r), non-normative, non-oppressive, inclusive, neuro- and queer-affirming space, with a focus on how people’s mental health is uniquely shaped by the intersection of their identities and the (sociopolitical) contexts they live in. Here, psychological suffering is held with compassion, (re-)contextualized, and validated—rather than pathologized and medicalized.
My approach is equally enriched by my academic training and scientific expertise in stress and trauma as well as by my own lived experience as an immigrant white woman who has lived in several European countries. Coming from Eastern Europe, I have both theoretical knowledge and direct experience of the intersections between the vulnerability of migration and the psychological weight of the boxes the system tries us to fit into.
Integrative Mind-Body Approach: I use a personalized integration of principles from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Somatic Experiencing®, and narrative and existential approaches.
Supporting Marginalized Communities: I specialize in work with adults and young adults who have been pushed to the margins (migrants, international students, activists, queer, neurodivergent, and disabled individuals) navigating the intersections of stress, burnout, trauma, and conflicting norms, cultures, and identities.
Accessibility & Solidarity: Committed to accessible care through a sliding-scale pricing model, ensuring that quality mental health support is not a privilege.
Multi-lingual Support: I provide my services in English, French, Italian, Lithuanian.
