Paulina Golaska, Ph.D - psychologist
I am a psychologist, consultant, and researcher specialising in neurodiversity-affirming support for autistic individuals and their families. I hold a doctoral degree and have over 15 years of professional experience working with autistic people across the lifespan.
My work is grounded in a neuro-affirming, strengths-based perspective that respects neurodivergent identity, autonomy, and lived experience. I provide consultation and therapeutic support focused on self-understanding, emotional wellbeing, resilience, and practical strategies for navigating everyday challenges.
My approach emphasises:
• Neurodiversity-affirming practice – recognising and supporting neurodivergent ways of experiencing and interacting with the world, without aiming to normalise or suppress natural traits.
• Strengths-based and collaborative work – identifying personal resources, fostering self-advocacy, and supporting clients in defining their own goals.
• Individualised therapeutic support – adapting methods and pacing to each person’s needs, preferences, and sensory-emotional profile.
• Work with families and systems – supporting understanding, communication, and relational wellbeing within families.
In addition to my clinical and consultation work, I am the founder and director of a therapeutic and educational centre in Poland dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. My practice prioritises psychological safety, respect, and a non-pathologising stance.
I work primarily with autistic adults and families, offering services that integrate professional expertise with deep respect for neurodivergent experience.
