Olena Baeva, AuDHD Adult and Couple Neuroaffirming Therapist.
I’m Olena, an autistic and ADHD counsellor and relationship therapist. I work online with neurodivergent adults and couples, particularly autistic, ADHD and AuDHD people, including those who are late diagnosed, self-identifying or exploring their neurodivergence.
You may be making sense of lifelong differences, exhausted by masking, navigating burnout, or trying to recognise your needs after years of organising your life around other people’s expectations. You may find emotions difficult to identify or put into words, need considerable solitude, or struggle with demands that seem manageable to others. These experiences have a place in our work.
My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed and collaborative. Together, we explore how your sensory environment, capacity, history and relationships affect you. I am interested in what makes a situation difficult, what your responses are doing for you, and what changes might make life more workable. Your own account of your experience matters; I will check my understanding rather than assume I know what you feel.
In couples work, I help partners understand differences in communication, emotional expression, sensory needs and ways of recovering from overwhelm. We explore recurring conflict, withdrawal, unequal responsibilities, boundaries and shared decisions. Understanding why something happens sits alongside recognising its impact and deciding what each person can realistically contribute.
My style is thoughtful, direct and practical. I ask questions, offer formulations for us to examine together, and help make confusing experiences more understandable. You are welcome to disagree with me. Therapy should support your judgement and choices.
Sessions take place online, with the pace and focus shaped around your needs and capacity. You do not need to arrive with a polished account or immediately know how you feel. Our first session gives us space to explore what brings you, what you hope might change, and what would help you participate comfortably. We review the work together as it develops.
You can expect respectful curiosity, clear boundaries and room to be yourself.
