Dayna Z. McGuire, Neuroqueer Psychotherapist (CO, NM, OR, WA, WI)
Healing is a tender negotiation with the past: honoring the armor that once kept us safe, then learning to set it down, piece by piece, if we realize it has grown too heavy to carry. Therapy with me is collaborative and somatic (aware that old hurts get stored in the body), blending psychodynamic exploration with mindfulness and nervous system regulation. Clients can expect a nonjudgmental space where we illuminate entrenched patterns, navigate developmental transitions, and cultivate resilience. I view struggles as catalysts for growth; together, we’ll explore what needs to be shed, reclaimed, or reimagined to align with your evolving self. I have specialized training in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS).
