Neuro affirming Equine-facilitated, nature-based, room-based, or online sessions and Clinical Supervision with Danielle
Pony Partnerships offers a unique environment where you can explore ways to improve your life.
Not everyone finds it easy to relate in a traditional way – the expectations attached to room based therapy, where we sit face to face, may feel overwhelming to some people. Here at Pony Partnerships, we offer a unique flexibility in the way that we work. We are a neurodivergence affirming practice, and some of our staff are neurodivergent themselves. We strive to be anti-ableist, antiracist, in support of gender and sexual diversity, and against discrimination in all its forms.
Therapy can be designed to suit the client, rather than expecting the client to fit into the therapy.
We have the capacity to work creatively, by building relationships with our therapists, as well as our animal partners, and the outdoor environment in which we are based.
As well as supporting clients with their general wellbeing and a range of mental health difficulties, some of our more specialist areas included working with neurodivergent clients (i.e. Autistic, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder – ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance – PDA) as well as school attendance difficulties, eating difficulties, and bereavement and loss. We work with people of all ages.
If you think that we might be able to help, please contact us via email to arrange a free 20 minute phone call/online meeting to discuss your needs. The next step would then be an assessment appointment (either online or in person) with Danielle to formulate an approach that will work for you, before allocating you to one of our team or adding you to our waiting list.
Once you have been allocated to a team member, we then offer a free 30 minute meet and greet where you can come and meet them (and the animal team if you’ve decided to go for an animal assisted approach) and see how you might work together.
We are located near Etwall and have parking facilities as well as a fully accessible site.
