Nehemiah Weiner, Neuroaffirming Therapist for Neurodivergent Adults & Couples + Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado, working with Autistic and ADHD adults, AuDHDers, and couples navigating complex trauma, masking, and mixed-neurotype relationships. I bring lived experience of ADHD to this work, alongside my clinical training.

Most of my clients have been in therapy before and left feeling like a diagnosis instead of a person. I work differently. Sessions are collaborative and conversational. I’m not here to correct you into a more palatable version of yourself. We’ll work with your actual nervous system, not the one a one size fits all system expected you to have.

My approach draws on somatic and nervous system based work, parts work, and a decolonial lens. I see masking less as a personal coping strategy and more as a survival response to systems built on conformity and control. Untangling that distinction is often where the real work starts. I work with individuals and couples, including LGBTQIA+ and non-traditional relationship structures.

I also offer psychedelic assisted therapy, legal and available in Colorado, for clients who want to explore that path as part of their healing. It’s one offering among several here, not the center of my practice. Most of my work is straightforward talk therapy.
