Natasha - AMFT
Hi, I’m Natasha! I’m an AMFT based in Los Angeles, CA, and I heard you’re looking for a therapist.
If you’re hoping to …
• nurture your relationship with yourself in all of your dimensions, as well as with the people and world around you
• be witnessed in the complexity of your experience, including pain, sadness, joy, anger, excitement, and shame, all of which are welcome
• learn how to understand the wisdom in your embodied experience, emotions, reactions, and desires
• lean into compassion for and curiosity about yourself
• explore how your sociocultural environment impacts you
• practice caring for yourself in ways that extend beyond traditional ideas of self-care
• identify your desires, passions, needs, and values and learn how to honor them …
I would be honored to join you on that journey.
We’ll create a space together where you can feel safe enough to be as you are. We will sit with the ways you’ve protected yourself from pain and hurt, turn toward that pain, let it be felt and witnessed, and give those protections permission to not have to work so hard all the time.
In our therapeutic work, we will embrace embrace your neurodivergence, understanding it as a part of your identity and personhood, not as something to be pathologized. We can also hold the complexity that there are also challenges of being ND in an environment that is not ND friendly. In our work together, you’re welcome to stim, and I hope we can create a space where you feel safe enough to unmask in your own time. I am interested in learning about your unique ND experience. I’m also especially curious to explore your experience in social situations, your relationships, school and work, how neurodivergence intersects with other parts of your identity, your special interests, sensory supports, internalized ableism, RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria), masking, feeling misunderstood, feeling understood, feeling othered, and feeling that you belong.
I’m a first-generation, Filipina American woman who cares deeply about social justice and intentionally brings this into my work as a therapist. I also like to think I’m kind of funny, so if you’re open to joining me on the playground of therapy, I invite you to reach out and see how we connect!
