Michelle Shaw | AuDHD Neurodivergent Advocate, Mentor & Human Co-Pilot
I am an AuDHD advocate, mentor and founder of Advocacy Bridge and Sorted + Supported Ltd.
My work is rooted in lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adult, combined with over 30 years of supporting people through learning, personal development, communication and life transitions.
Through Advocacy Bridge, I support autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent adults who may be struggling to express their needs, advocate for themselves, navigate services, communicate effectively or feel heard and understood. Many of the people I work with have experienced burnout, masking, self-doubt, barriers within systems, or years of trying to fit into environments that were never designed with neurodivergent people in mind.
My approach is collaborative, affirming and person-centred. I do not believe people need fixing. Instead, I help people better understand themselves, identify what is getting in the way, and develop practical strategies that work for their unique strengths, needs and circumstances.
Support may include self-advocacy, communication support, navigating workplace adjustments, Access to Work implementation, understanding capacity and energy, accountability, body doubling, problem solving and helping people prepare for important conversations and decisions.
I work particularly well with late-diagnosed adults, self-employed people, professionals, creatives and those exploring what life can look like beyond survival and burnout.
My aim is simple: to help neurodivergent people feel heard, understood, connected and empowered to advocate for what they need.
