Lauren Lynch, ADHD Adult and Child Neuro Affirming Therapist
I’m Lauren, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and ANZAED-credentialed eating disorder clinician, and I’m neurodivergent myself. A proud Yorta Yorta woman and queer, I built Body Belonging Clinic as the space I spent years looking for and never found: one that holds the whole person instead of splitting them into parts.
I work at the intersection most services pull apart — ADHD and neurodivergence alongside eating, body-image and disordered-eating difficulties. I don’t treat ADHD as an attention problem. I work with the whole of it: emotional regulation, interoception and the nervous system, the grief and identity shift after a late diagnosis, and food handled safely, without shame or diet culture.
My practice is neurodiversity-affirming, weight-inclusive and trauma-informed – sensory-aware and flexible, where you set the pace and the language for your own brain and body. It’s a genuinely safe space for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Who I work with: ADHD and AuDHD adults and teens; late-identified and burnt-out neurodivergent folks, disordered eating and body image; and the overlap of the two that so often goes missed.
