Does it feel like you’re constantly ‘treading treacle’ just to keep up with a world that wasn’t built for your brain?
Perhaps you are currently stuck in ADHD paralysis; dwelling over the never-ending to-do list while the weight of executive dysfunction, makes starting even the smallest task feel like a marathon. Maybe you’re navigating the deep, chronic exhaustion of neurodivergent burnout, or struggling with the “hidden” emotional pain of Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD).

All of these can often leave you feeling stuck or even broken; every day is just another to survive.

If you’ve spent years masking your true self to fit in, only to feel like you’re still falling short of the “adulting” standard, I want you to know: I understand, I’ve lived it, and you don’t have to do this alone.

If you take one thing from this profile visit today, I hope it is that: you are not broken, and no one is beyond help.

A neuro-affirming space in Teesside
I am a dedicated CBT Therapist with 15 years of combined NHS experience in CBT and Occupational Therapy. My practice, Reclaiming You Therapy, is built on the belief that your authentic self is your greatest strength. I specialise in helping clients navigate low self-esteem, imposter syndrome and most importantly, understand their unique wiring and dysregulated nervous system.

Why combine CBT with ADHD/AuDHD support?
When you live with ADHD or AuDHD, you often grow up receiving a lifetime of subtle (or overt) judgement. You may have been told you’re “lazy,” “too much,” or “not trying hard enough.” Over time, this creates a relentless “hamster wheel” of stress and strong core beliefs that you are simply not good enough. Leading to chronic anxiety and crippling self-esteem.

While coaching is an incredible tool for managing executive functioning (the “how-to” of daily life), it often doesn’t reach the deep-seated negative beliefs that keep you trapped in shame. For me, this is the beauty of combining CBT with neuro-affirming support:

Coaching helps you find the practical strategies to navigate your day.
CBT helps you challenge and transform the strong negative beliefs you’ve built about yourself, the world and others. Allowing you to finally heal the “imposter syndrome”.

Stepping off the hamster wheel
I am a strong believer that clarity and understanding is the foundation of change. Whether you are struggling with task initiation, emotional regulation, or simply feeling overwhelmed by daily life, I am here to help you move beyond survival mode.

Lived experience & professional expertise
I don’t just work from a textbook. I truly understand the complexities of the neurodivergent mind and the cycle of grief/relief of a late diagnosis, having received my own ADHD diagnosis at 38. This personal insight, combined with my clinical background, allows me to help you dismantle the imposter syndrome that often follows a lifetime of feeling “different.”

My focus is not to “fix” your brain; instead, we will work together to build resilience, regulate your nervous system and manage sensory overwhelm. To help transform your challenges into your greatest strengths.
