I work with adults who identify as neurodivergent. I’m experienced at supporting clients through the diagnostic process (if they choose) and beyond.
As a late diagnosed adult and parent of two neurodivergent adult children I have years of lived experience of managing education and health services.
I am an integrative Transactional Analyst and Ecological psychotherapeutic therapist. Working with people online, indoors and in nature.
As an experienced yoga and mindfulness teacher I specialise in working with people who live with physical health challenges including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and other chronic health conditions that often co-occur with Autism and ADHD.
My work experience is in NHS mental health services, local authority specialist services for learning disability and autism and the National Autistic Society supporting families.
My training includes a post graduate certificate in autism from Sheffield Hallam University and studying mindfulness at Bangor and Oxford Universities.
Before starting therapy together I offer a free taster session via Zoom online that lasts up to 30 minutes.
I usually see clients on a weekly basis at a set time and place.
Short term, six to twelve week treatment is available to long term therapy that can last for years.
My aim is to be flexible for clients with chronic health conditions so that planned f2f meetings can be changed to online during periods of illness.
48 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment otherwise the appointment fee will be payable.
