Kathryn Warren, Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, MBACP (Accred).

As a neurodivergent practitioner in private practice since 2004, I blend counselling and psychotherapy with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), commonly known as Tapping. My therapeutic work covers a wide range of issues from anxiety and depression to relationship problems and family difficulties, grief and loss. I find using EFT incredibly effective in healing and releasing trauma and deactivating triggers. I also use EFT to deal with phobias and persistent physical pain. Alongside my practice I support neurodiverse and differently abled staff and students at the University of Manchester as a work coach and mental health mentor.

Having been diagnosed with ADHD in my 40s, I have a particular interest in working with late or recently diagnosed neurodivergent adults to explore how your diagnosis might have led you to re-examine events in your life. Reflecting on past events through this new neurodivergent lens can bring up a lot of tough memories and feelings. My aim is to support you with whatever comes up on what can be a rocky but enlightening and ultimately liberating – and sometimes fun! – journey.

I can offer you a warm, patient and safe space to take the time you need to reflect on your life experiences, feelings and beliefs, and to identify and let go of whatever might be holding you back in life. Sessions last 50 minutes and can be in person or online.

I also provide Coping Strategy support for UK employed and self-employed individuals through the government’s Access to Work scheme and this is charged at a higher rate.
