Francesca Biscotti - AuDHD Somatic Coaching / Specialised in Nervous System Regulation
Hi, my name is Francesca Biscotti, but please call me Fran!
Once upon a time, I was doing exactly what you may be doing right now — searching for a Neurodivergent Somatic Coach who truly understood both the neurodivergent experience and the nervous system.
I was diagnosed as an Autistic Adult (with a PDA profile) with ADHD in my 30s and I soon realised that I was in need to find answers to my questions and guidance to make order in my brain and body and, consequently, in my life.
At the same time, I found myself navigating a deeply challenging season of grief and flashbacks.
Through that journey, I learned something that profoundly changed the way I understand healing: The body stores more than the brain can make sense of.
I realised how difficult it can be to find people who truly understand the intersection between neurodivergence and trauma.
So I became the person I had once been searching for.
For years, I worked as a Neurodivergent Coach helping clients better understand their nervous systems. While we saw meaningful progress, I began to notice a common thread: many people were carrying underlying trauma.
I realised that to truly support my clients, I needed to hold space for more than just their present and future. I needed to understand the experiences their bodies had been holding for years.
That realisation led me to train as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Trauma-Informed Somatic Counsellor.
Today, I specialise in supporting people at the intersection of a neurodivergent brain and a traumatised nervous system.
Through my Somatic coaching I support neurodivergent individuals to understand their brain and body combining a top down-bottom up approach. We will look at things through different lenses: ADHD lens, Autism lens and Nervous System lens. I follow the Polyvagal Theory to support our understanding of the Nervous System. I am a firm believer that understanding our Nervous System is the key to learning how to manage our brain and relieve guilt and shame and learn to be compassionate about ourselves. For me, this was truly the missing link!
My mission is to offer a safe, compassionate space where people can better understand themselves, reconnect with their nervous systems, and — if and when they choose — gently explore deeper healing at their own pace.
In addition, I offer a 6 weeks course “Introduction to the Polyvagal Theory and its impact on ADHD and Autism’. Please check my website for more information.
My previous clients have identified as:
-Neurodivergent & Neurotypical Clients
-Highly sensitive Clients
-PTSD/CPTSD Clients
-Perimenopause and Menopausal Women
-Women, Men and Genderqueer clients
-Parents or Carers of Neurodivergent Children
Over the years, I have worked with clients from all over the world and from many different walks of life, including creatives, artists, students, teachers, and healthcare professionals. The common denominator is their curiosity to understand their nervous system and their story and manage life better!
My approach is entirely client-centred. I begin with you, your story, your nervous system, and your unique lived experience — because no two people are the same.
My work is deeply informed by somatic practice, nervous system regulation, Polyvagal Theory, and trauma-informed approaches. I continue to expand my learning through ongoing study in areas such as Somatic Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Parts Work, Focusing, and Felt Sense.
As an autistic and ADHD practitioner with lived experience, I am especially passionate about neurodivergence, sensory processing differences, co-regulation, self-regulation, the vagus nerve, and the connection between the brain and body.
Some of my core Character Strengths are love, humour, hope, honesty, curiosity, bravery, and a deep love of learning.
