Emily Camera, LCSW
You deserve a space where you can be exactly who you are and become exactly who you want to be, in a way that makes you feel seen and validated. My aspiration is to be the kind of therapist my generational peers and I would have needed as adolescents: one who is solution-focused, authentic, nonjudgmental, will call you on your BS (gently!), and genuinely cares about you and your progress. (I do not treat couples or families at this time).
My therapy style is holistic and eclectic, and I practice through neurodiversity-affirming and intersectional theory lenses. Therapy is not “one size fits all,” and I enjoy getting creative to ensure that you have all of the tools you need to live the life you want. My treatment specialities include trauma, identity formation, and BPD.
I am queer, poly, and neurodivergent. I aim to create a safe space for my LGBTQ+ siblings, and anyone exploring their sexuality, gender identity, and sexual interests. My work centers on creating an affirming space for diverse identities and relationship styles, where your voice directs the journey and therapy supports your growth.
I am currently pursuing my doctorate, and my research interests include: intersectionality and neurodiversity, autism assessment process for AFAB individuals, and improving the diagnostic process for queer and AFAB individuals.
