Dr Rachael Vaughan. LMFT
My approach is down-to-earth and real. I’m ADHD myself, have battled with depression and anxiety all my life, and I’m a chronic fatigue survivor. Getting diagnosed with ADHD was a huge vindication for me, reframing all my life’s battles as survival with courage, rather than failure or lack of capability. Suddenly I had pride in my achievements, against all odds.
I’m trained in a bunch of modalities (Jungian analytic psychology, Gestalt therapy, EMDR, somatics and dreamwork). Born in Asia, raised in the UK and Europe, and naturalised as a US citizen, I draw on multiple cultural traditions.
I’m a core faculty member at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and a member of the US Climate Psychology Alliance. I offer therapy and coaching in English and in French, in the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide.
I mostly see women and AFAB people. I’m LGBTQQI-friendly, and I don’t expect you to be white.
