Dr Jamie Brown - Aurum Mindfulness
I am interested in how we can adapt mindfulness to better support neurodivergent individuals. In my dual role as a doctor and mindfulness teacher, I’ve spent years listening to the community to refine this approach. I view this as an iterative project—a flexible, co-creative process where participant feedback is central to the ongoing evolution of the course design.
This February, I am running a small, neuro-affirming mindfulness group as part of this work. It is a low-demand, flexible course, offering a variety of short, simple practices designed to be integrated into daily life.
The Details:
Small, supportive group: Live online.
Weekly Sessions: Thursdays, 7:15 pm – 9:00 pm GMT.
Dates: Starting February 5th (8 consecutive weeks).
Retreat: Saturday, March 14th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm GMT.
Access: Camera-optional, sliding scale payment, and no formal diagnosis required.
Because I want to maintain solidarity and safety, groups are small. If the cohort fills up, I will gladly add you to the priority list for our next group.
Do you often feel “tired but wired”—trapped in the noise of a busy life and the physical tension of a stressed nervous system? You may feel as though you’re living “from the neck up,” seeking a way to bridge the gap between your mind and your physical experience. You need more than just coping skills; you want to feel at home in your own skin. By integrating anatomy, psychology, and mindfulness, we work to replace reactivity with a “compassionate core,” helping you move from simply surviving to living with genuine presence and ease.
As a trained doctor and BAMBA-registered teacher, I bridge clinical expertise with contemplative practice. I offer neuro-affirmative 8-week courses, drop-in sessions, mentoring, and teacher supervision—all online. My specialty is a somatic, trauma-informed approach that respects your unique way of being, helping you regulate your nervous system.
I understand how exhausting it is to feel disconnected from your body while navigating a world that isn’t always built for you. You don’t have to carry that tension alone. I offer a safe, online space where you are celebrated, not “fixed.” If you’re ready to move toward a more compassionate, grounded life, please reach out.
