Cynthia Marques, MSW, RSW
Have you ever wondered why life seems harder for you than it does for everyone else?
You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense. Perhaps you’ve spent years masking, people-pleasing, pushing through burnout, or wondering why things that seem easy for others take so much effort. For many women, these struggles can be connected to unrecognized neurodivergence, past experiences, or the immense pressure of trying to meet expectations that don’t fit who they truly are.
As an IFS Level 2 trained therapist, I help women better understand themselves with curiosity and compassion. Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you explore the different parts of yourself, understand why they developed, and reduce the inner conflict that can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Rather than focusing solely on coping strategies, IFS supports deeper healing and lasting change.
I specialize in women’s mental health, perinatal mental health, and supporting late-discovered neurodivergent women, including those exploring autism, ADHD, or AuDHD. Together, we’ll work to better understand your unique experiences, uncover what’s beneath your struggles, and help you build a more authentic, balanced, and compassionate relationship with yourself.
