At HeartLight Play Therapy, I support neurodivergent children and their families through play therapy and neurodivergent parent coaching. In my playroom through toys, art, sand, puppets, dress-up, slime, movement, and sensory play children begin to explore their world. Through the safety of play, they begin to explore their feelings, identity, sensory needs, and discover who they are, what helps them regulate, and how to navigate support across home, school, and the wider world. As an autistic and ADHD therapist, I deeply understand that what is often labelled “too sensitive” is very often a child’s daily lived reality in environments that don’t yet understand them. I also support children who have experienced misunderstanding, exclusion, or injustice within school systems. My work is helping children know deep in their nervous system that who they are has always been enough. ✨
Alongside play therapy, I also offer neurodivergent-affirming parent coaching, my Anchor Parenting Programme, school advocacy and support, and teacher training—helping the adults around the child better understand nervous systems, sensory needs, behaviour as communication, and how to create environments where neurodivergent children can truly thrive.
As a passionate systems-builder, I’ve had the privilege of pioneering Ireland’s first school and early years play therapy projects, helping bring play therapy into 11 schools and 5 preschools. ✨
